Major drugs find

As part of our ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related crime in the Leyland area, officers carried out a targeted operation this week.

A male was stopped and searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. During the search, officers recovered approximately 60 wraps of suspected Class A drugs.

Following this, a Section 18 search was conducted at the suspect's home address, where officers discovered an additional 300 wraps of suspected Class A drugs.

One person has been arrested and remains in custody for questioning.
